Dixon’s Distilled Spirits & Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association Instagram Live Event Rules & Regulations

 

Eligibility

  • Giveaways are open to all residents of Ontario.
  • There is no purchase necessary to enter.
  • Documentation to support winners’ identity will be required in order to demonstrate legal drinking age (19 years old in Canada).
  • Giveaways are not open to individuals associated with the giveaways, including employees of Dixon’s Distilled Spirits and Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) staff/players, or their immediate family.

 

Details

  • Our Instagram Live Event will take place 7 p.m. EST Aug. 12, 2021. Two winners for the event will be drawn from accumulated entries seven (7) days after the event: on Aug. 19, 2021.
  • In order to earn an entry into the draw, a participant must follow @dixonsdistilledspirits on Instagram, and post (or comment on an existing Instagram post) related to the Instagram live event, either during the event or within 7 days after. A comment earns the participant one entry into the draw. Additional comments do not earn additional entries.
  • BONUS ENTRY: a participant can earn a bonus entry if their comment/post tags a friend or if they share their favourite spirit.
  • Winners will be drawn from qualifying participants and notified by Dixon’s through Instagram direct message. A winner will have 48 hours to respond/accept the prize and provide an appropriate Ontario mailing or delivery address. After 48 hours, the winner will be declared forfeit and a second draw completed.
  • Although it is anticipated that a gift card will be delivered to a winner no later than two (2) weeks following the draw, delays may occur due to important safety measures, including physical distancing, that may cause couriers and postal operator delays.
  • This giveaway is sponsored by Dixon’s Distilled Spirits and is not associated with Instagram.

 

Prize Description

  • Two winners will be drawn seven (7) days after the event from accumulated qualifying entries to receive a $50 gift card.
  • Gift cards will be redeemable at either the LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) or Dixon’s in-store location or online portal (Dixon’s reserves the right to choose based on the winners’ mailing address).

 

Limitations

  • Dixon’s Distilled Spirits and/or their representatives reserve the right at any time to:
    • place reasonable restrictions on the availability or use of the prize or any aspect of the prize. This includes the inability to transfer the prize to another individual; and
    • substitute the prize or any aspect of the prize for any reason so long as a prize or aspect of comparable value is substituted.
  • Dixon’s Distilled Spirits reserves the right to withhold all or any portion of the prize gained through unauthorized or unlawful use.

 

Privacy and Promotion

  • By entering the promotion, the winner agrees to the promotion rules and regulations.
  • All entrants consent to the collection, use and distribution of their personal information by Dixon’s Distilled Spirits for the purposes of running the promotion. Dixon’s Distilled Spirits will not sell or transmit this information to third parties except for the purposes of administering the promotion.
  • Dixon’s Distilled Spirits is not responsible for technical, mechanical, computer, telephone, telecommunication, distribution or production errors and may cancel or withdraw the contest in the event of such errors, without obligation and without notice.
  • Dixon’s Distilled Spirits is not responsible for any damage to a user’s computer system as a result of participating in the contest or downloading the information necessary to participate in the contest.
